One of my favorite topics is always the Disney Monorails.
I’ve always been intrigued with them since I first saw them in 1972.
Thought they were the coolest thing… and still do.
There are 12 Monorails…
Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Black, Gold,
Silver, Coral, Lime, Teal, Blue, & Maroon.
The Pink & Purple Monorails Cabs were retired (after accident) and combined to make the Teal
The Maroon Monorails was created with two new cabs and six rebuilt cars…
coming into service soon.
The announcement just before the doors close…
Did you ever notice that they say the English version first
and as the doors are already closing they say the Spanish version….
oops, just a bit late if you are too close to the doors.
My favorite Monorail Deco was for the Years of a Million Dreams
Got to ride in the operators cab several times…
hope to again someday.
Currently, no passengers are allowed in the front.
