Another Great Day in the parks… this time Disney’s Hollywood Studios. We went in especially to see the Osborne Christmas Lights on the Streets of America. The show will definitely put you into the Christmas Spirit… but than again 2 million lights flashing to the music while it’s snowing… well… you get the picture. What a great evening with my Sweetie… walk around, hold hands, take pictures, enjoy all the Christmas Decorations… and just have a enjoyable relaxing time. Little something to snack on, a short stop here and there, and a little more walking about.
We decided to leave the park before closing to beat the crowds and the rush. Must have miscalculated a bit… we were right in the middle of the rush leaving the park… guess lots decided to leave after seeing the Osborne Lights. This time we took a Disney Bus into the park from the Caribbean Beach Resort. So we were off to the bus stop to ride back to the truck. Disney Bus rides are pretty normal… sometimes a bit crowded… sometimes you’re almost alone…. and mostly uneventful. Coming back from Hollywood Studios the bus was packed… really packed. First we waited for the bus for about 15 minutes ( must have just missed one )… a large crowd gathered awaiting it’s arrival… as the crowd gets larger… the bus arrived. The driver took another 5 minutes trying to get everyone into the bus. “Everyone please more back, keep moving back, fill all the spaces… please keep moving back”. Eventually everyone got on the bus and we were finally underway… packed like sardines. The driver announced that the music system was broken and jokingly said everyone could sing if they wanted. Now I'm sure this was just an idol suggestion… but the riders seemed to pick up on the invite. Those at the front of the bus began to sing “Jingle Bells”… those at the back… a large family reunion group began to sing the “Wheels on the Bus” song. So as it went on they got to the third verse and began to sing “The Driver on the bus says move on back… move on back… move on back… the driver on the bus says move on back”. Well this resulted in mostly everyone on the bus laughing and having a good time… turning around the somewhat negativeness of being packed into the bus. So ya just never know… turned out to be one of the best times we ever had on a Disney Bus. A good note to end the evening on. Ya just never know where a little Magic with happen… and of all places… on the bus ride back to the resort.
