Signs of the Times…

Signs of the Times… yep, signs are important.

They give you information, warnings, and directions.

Yep, signs are important.

And you must Obey the signs…

( yep… there’s a sign telling you to! )

okay, maybe I’ll just go somewhere else…

since I now forgot what I wanted to do.

I’m not even sure what some of these are…

I don’t think I want to do that…

Warning: Riders jumping off Motorbikes?

Signs can be useful, helpful, and informative!

Some you need to just “Do it”

Some “Not do it”

Some “Figure them out”

and some take more serious than others.

yep… signs are great!

and the best part is, they’re everywhere.

The question is… While performing their main function,

do they help you stay alert? …

or are there so many of them…

that they are a distraction to driving?

Do they loose their impact when there are literally

twenty signs to read all at once… every hundred feet.

and… are the biggest signs the most important?

or is it color coded?

Red, I guess is more important than Yellow.

Yellow is more important and White…

Therefore BIG RED signs are most important…

little white signs the least important…

Speed limit signs being small & white are the least important…

otherwise they’d be RED!

Oh… now I see the RED!

It’s flashing in my read view mirror! 

And than there’s the pictures!

Going up hill, going down hill, and falling off hill…

rocks & boulders falling down hill to crush you in your car,

Railroad crossings, pedestrian crossing, school crossings,

the “Don’t even think about it signs”…

you know the ones with the intended action…

circled with a line through it…

DON’T YOU DO IT !

and the one’s that have a picture depicting something…

that I still haven’t figured out… oh well!

Personally … I like the ones that flash 3 messages…

one as you get close…

the second as you approach…

and the third and most important part of the message…

right when you are passing the sign…

and you only had time to see one word…

“Important” or “Danger” or “Detour”

and the rest of the message is a mystery.

Yep… signs are great!

Here’s a good one…

but why do all the signs in the farm country have holes in them?

I didn’t take a picture of it…

but if you stand on just about any intersection at Disney

look down each direction…

you will see signs directing you to I-4 & Rt192…

in all four directions.

Still not sure if this is to have you never feel lost…

or always feel that way!

Some make you feel better instantly…

well… alright!

than dash your hopes…
