Lets start with thousands of lights… miles of wire… put’um on lots of floats… lots of characters… and add a little Disney Magic… and parade them all through Magic Kingdom… and you’ll have the Original Disney’s Main Street Electrical Parade… restored in all it’s glory to just the way Walt originally planned it for Disneyland and the Magic Kingdom. The Classic Returned this year to a new generation of kids to enjoy all over again. Here’s a few picks… Welcome Back!

Just a small sampling of the Parade… didn’t want to give too much away and spoil any surprises. Sometimes it’s nice to think about some of the rides and attractions that were actually created by Walt and his original Imagineers. Wouldn’t that have been a dream job. But we’re happy to play our small part as cast members and get into the parks for free…. the discounts and perks aren’t too bad either. It’s so nice NOT to do the usual tourist / vacation thing… limited time and have to do everything early morning to late at night to try to see everything in a short time frame… we can go in anytime we want… 2-5 hours or so… see what we want… and come back another day and not feel we have wasted a ticket not doing the 12 hour a day thing. There’s always something new as well as the old favorites… sometimes it sit back and think about some of the original rides… like the Haunted mansion… still a marvel today and what it must have seemed like almost 40 years ago… those dancing ghosts in the ballroom/dinning room… wow… guess that’s where the term “Magic” started. Disney Magic and Pixie Dust… we could all use a little from time to time.
