Now here’s a little do-dad to spark a memory. Remember the “Man from U.N.C.L.E”. A spy Tv show from the 60’s where good always fought evil and won. Here’s an old poster for the movie that spun off from the tv series. And just in case you didn’t remember or recognize him… one of the men from UNCLE is none other than our beloved character “Ducky” from N.C.I.S. … David McCallum. Funny… back than all the guys wore suits & ties, and all the women wore bikini’s & a smile… yep… funny thing.
And just like today, marketing played a big role in making money… and since spy movies and shows were big back then… merchandising spy gadgets was also big. Here’s an ad for a spy pen to see through walls. Bet this would get little Johnny in trouble in more ways than one… but would it be worth it… maybe!
Yep… just a little trip down memory lane… if you are older. Just a bit of insight for the younger folks. And, No… I never got to have this wonderful spy pen… and I’m sure I would have gotten in trouble with it anyway.
