This may help you decide with Disney Resort hotel you want to enjoy your stay with. 

Our personal favorites:

Disney's Wilderness Lodge is our number one favorite resort.

With  the atmosphere of The Yellowstone lodge, but infused with Disney Magic on a grander scale. Its also on bay lake with easy boat transportation to magic kingdom.

Boats also take you to the Contemporary Resort or Fort Wilderness Campground. At the Contemporary you can take the monorail, which will take you to the Polynesian or the Grand Floridian. At the ticket and Transportation Center (monorail transfer) you can pick up the Epcot monorail. Of course convenient buses always leave from the front of the resort taking you to all the Parks and and Disney Springs.

All in all a very relaxing stay, the atmosphere, plus two nice restaurants, and a cafe.

2nd choice... Port Orleans Riverside. Styled after Southern plantations with a relaxed atmosphere, a very beautiful Resort. Bus transportation to all the parks, and you can take a nice relaxing boat ride down to Disney Springs.

All the resorts are nice depending on personal preferences. Our least popular resorts are Pop Century and the All Star Resorts.

Personal  Thoughts... 

Pop Century and the All Star Resorts

are the cheapest,  therefore most crowded.

Longer wait times for busses, to and from the parks. Especially at park closings. 

Bus wait lines for the more premium resorts 

are generally shorter. 

We always liked staying at the wilderness lodge.

Bus wait are less crowded.

Boat rides is the best option...

Nice ride back to the lodge.

(usually minimum waits)
