Colorado Springs
Quite the unusual city. First off, we drove westward from St Louis... through 600 miles of nothing but flat plains... then all of a sudden... BOOM! A dense population of hundreds of planned neighborhoods. Its so odd to see things go from nothing to everything.
From a high point hill, you could look back and see a well defined edge of where nothing ends and everything begins. Like someone drew a line in the sand, everything on one side.
The views of the mountains are beautiful.
The biggest adjustment is the altitude. Growing up and living barely 200 feet above sea level and going to elevation 6,200 feet... well, its true what they say ... breathing is noticeably a bit harder. And if you are active its not long before breathing becomes very difficult to catch your breath.

A well planned out, well zoned community surounding th old city downtown area.
