Trip from Virginia to Colorado Springs. Through western Missouri, Kansas, and eastern Colorado. 600 mikes of flat nothingness. Absolutely flat... Absolutely nothing.
THEN...
From nothing to everything. We are use to small town life. 5 minutes from the center of town and you're out in the farmlands. Then, on the way to colorado springs, were drove through 600 miles of virtually nothingness. Then "boom"... a city abruptly appears.... everything all at once. Quite the contrast. Heres some photos... close up, then zooming out... and out... and out. Population 500,000 with 200,000 homes plus countless businesses and restaurants. Amazingly, everything looks new, unlike Baltimore where there's old run down sections, deteriorating buildings, streets and homes.

I just find it amazing.
