Cpap Update

Cpap Update...

Five years ago I got the Phillips Dream Station (the original), and it has worked wonderfully all these years. Then two and a years ago Phillips had all the controversy over the safety issues of the noise dampening foam. The recalls and finally the replacement units... the dream station 2. By almost every account the DS2 was a cheaper piece of crap made for the recall. I didn't like anything about it. And I wasn't giving up my DS1.
BUT NOW... finally after a 5 year wait,  I got a new machine made by ResMed. The Airsence 11. As much as I liked my DS1, that's how much I like the ResMed unit. Easy to set controls, super quiet, and basically a great improvement in technology now 5 years better. App on smart phone to see all information results. All in all, a great unit.

Its very quiet.
Water tank is bigger.
Touch screen menu controls.
Easier to clean.

I use with the ResMed N20
Nasal cushions.
The best choice for me.

Past history...

My first unit.
Very simple, very basic.
Phillips Respironics

My second unit
Phillips System One
Respironics
Much better than the first

The Dream Station
(The Original)
Great unit!
Used this until I got
My new ResMed.

Then for the Recall
The Replacement
For DS1...
The chesper made DS2
I only used this for travel.
BASICALLY
I hated this unit.

And now... my news ResMed
Airsense 11 auto cpap.
Absolutely love it.
