It a miracle...

It's a Miracle...Think about it... 

Is it really a miracle?

So... what exactly is a miracle?  Anything that happens outside the normal human experience beyond what should be expected. Generally something good and of benefit, otherwise a tragedy.

Miracles of Nature... like rainbows. They don't happen that often so when they do,  it might be considered a miracle. Outside of the normal experience. Natural and scientifically explained.

Miracles of the unexpected... like something miraculous from a tragic event that goes beyond the comprehension to explain. That accident that surely no one could survive... yet, no one was killed.

It's a miracle they survived! Some things just happen... not a true supernatural miracle... miracles don't exist expect in the context of beliefs. 

Miracles in a biblical sense. Anything perceived... "believed" to be a miracle... be it nature or unexpected, or technologically advanced knowledge... now claimed to be solely achieved by god. Anything considered a miracle  is credited to gods will.... even if explained by science. A belief of devine intervention ... which is not necessarily the same as truth.

Many things are attributed to be miracles... big or small.  
It's a miracle: (all things unexpected)...

I just missed that tragic car accident. 
The tornado spared that house, taking all others.

That they survived the plane crash.

They passed the test. ( that wasn't expected)

They fell down and didn't break a bone.

And the list goes on.

Some things simply just happen... And if outside the normal human experience... It's call a miracle.

The further are you go back in time the more things seem like miracles... usually credited to be divine. At one time fire was a miracle. Just about everything we enjoy and take for granted today would have been considered a miracle 300+ years ago.  Electricity, Planes, telephones, cars, computers... putting men in space and going to the moon... miracles.

Even eye glasses that enabled people to see... Miracle! 
Herbs and spices to heal and improve health , all miracles those many years ago. Simple antibiotics and vaccines would have been considered / believed to be miracles at one time.

And as all ancient civilizations the world over wrote about... beings from the heavens come down to help mankind using advanced technologies and wisdom ... all considered... Miracles! 

Miracles and beliefs. Consider the perspective of knowledge verses miracles. Knowledge is about facts and truth.  Miracles are about  "beliefs"... Perhaps closely associated with superstitions.

Now... That's a lot to think about, provided you have an open mind.

Nothing to think at all, if you blindly believe what you have been told to believe... despite scientific facts, knowledge, and the wisdom to think logically for yourself. 

Miracles are a state of mind, a state of beliefs in something that can not be proven... but believed to be divine in nature.

Believe what you will... Think for yourself. 
I'm simply offering a different perspective. 
Pebbles of awareness, 

dropped into the human consciousness.

NOT TO OFFEND

(if that's possible)

But this seems to be true... Every natural event, floods, earthquakes, solar eclipses, bad weather, good weather, good crop yields (food), the bodies natural ability to heal, intervention of beings from the heavens helping/healing mankind, advanced knowledge... all claimed by religions... presented as things to believe as divine intervention...

 

Miracles! 

Religion lays claim to everything good. It also lays blame to everything as bad as a result of sin. But that's all in what you were taught to believe. Similar to who or what to hate, and what or who to condenn as to those beliefs. 

Miracles are an abstract thought/feeling based solely on beliefs.

A belief that you were taught. 
And believe to be absolutely true.

But if beliefs make you feel at peace with yourself 

And your life.. so be it. That's a positive purpose. 

Something else to consider. 
Miracles verses Magic 

From the standpoint of  "belief"... 

They are both the same.  It's only "seems" real if you "believe".

The only real difference...

Beliefs say Miracles are divine... Magic is of the devil. 
Good verses Evil. 
God verses Satin.

Again... all in what you were "taught to believe".

 A final note...

I will not criticize you for your beliefs.

Nor will I recent you.

I will not judge you.

Nor unfriend you.

I respect you as you are. 

I expect the same in return.
