Before dark there was a double rainbow...
Perhaps a good omen for the new year.
After dark the night time sky was unusually clear and you could see hundreds of stars shining very brightly...spectacular views. We didn't make it to midnight... go figure. Then early to bed, early to rise.
I was so ready for a new year that my body woke me up a 3am to enjoy the beginning of a new day... a new year. Everything feels the same. Yep, I'm still old and parts of me still hurt.. Now just waiting for the sunrise.
May the New Year start and be filled with joy and happiness.
