Immortal...

Immortal and Invincible  

That's how you see yourself growing up. 
You can do anything... Forever. 
You don't even think about anything else. 

You think of yourself this way to perhaps the age of 50.

Your mind still sees you as 30.

Your body hints at something different. 
You use a bit more caution doing stuff. 

Reaching 60... You body over rides your mind set

of physical ability a even more.

Perhaps a 50/50 split.

Reaching 70... Your physical ability sets the tone for life. 
Your physical ability dominates your mindset

of feeling younger and being able to do everything. 
Mostly everything is done with caution. 
Thinking everything through so you don't get hurt. 

You still want to be happy everyday

but your own morality creeps in to mind.

Mentally... You still feel 30.

Physically... You feel your age more and more. 
Seeing and hearing of people your age

or even younger, passing away

reminds your of your mortality. 

At 70... half of everyone that you grew up

With have passed away.

By 80... You are in the 30% group.

7 of 10 people your age have already passed away. 

Yep... Mortality is a bitch.

It's becoming a bit of a mental struggle to handle it.

Physical limitations make it worse.

How do people mentally handle bring in their 90s?

When everyone you knew and loved is gone.
When the world had passed you by years ago.

When your physical ability is greatly diminished. 
Your 30 year old mind is trapped in a 90 year old body.

Or at least... You hope you still have a 30 years old mindset.

The struggle between your mind set

Verses physical ability. 

Well... Didn't that just brighten up everyone's day.

If you're pushing 70... You know what I'm saying

If you are still under 50...

Well, look what's in your future. 

Keep pursuing your interests...

even if the majority are more mental, 

and less physical.

At the least,  you can keep your mind sharp. 
In the battle of mindset verses physical ability.
