For the people... by the people.
Great concept... but in reality this seems lost on government officials that have the power to govern by their beliefs, or their wishes, and NOT what the majority of the people want. And depending on who pays for their power to enact laws, it doesn't matter what the people want. And that's why confidence in government is at an all time low. Questioning the integrity of not only elected officials but especially those that are appointed... Especially when meetings and agendas are conducted behind closed doors in secret.
