Cpap troubles

Out of the frying pan
Dreamstation 1

And into the fire?
Dreamstation 2

Clearly, Philips Respironics,
after having 6 years to develop the DS2,
it's a failure in multiple ways.

Check out YouTube videos
Concerning the DS2.

Of course it only a failure to the users.
Given all the negative aspects of the DS2
it was perhaps a win for Philips.
My personal feeling, as is others,
The DS2 was made faster and cheaper that the DS1
FOR SPECIFIC REASONS.

Philips knew the real was coming,
So they came up with the DS2
to negate their losses due to the recall.
CHEAPER AND QUICKER TO MAKE.

Which,  BTW, has been nothing less than a disaster.

***** One would hope: *****

The recall issues would be addressed quicker.
 THEY HAVEN'T. NOTHING BUT CONFUSION.

That we could trust Philips.
IT'S PROVEN THAT WE CAN'T.

The new DS2 would be safer.
THAT'S VERY MUCH IN QUESTION.

Timelines would be met.
RECALL STARTED IN JUNE 2021.
RECALL STARTS SEPTEMBER 2021
 ESTIMATED COMPLETION SEPTEMBER 2022
PUSHED BACK TO DECEMBER 2022
PUSHED BACK TO SOMETIME IN 2023.

Frustrating to say the least.

It would be great if the FDA & U.S. Courts
Would just make Philips do a refund,
SO WE COULD BUY SAFE UNITS FROM RESUMED.
WITH NO WAITING.

But since this only affects 3 million people,
1% of the population,
It's probably not a priority or concern.

Then there's always the probability that
a company as huge as Philips would
Payoff the powers to be
So that Philips gets the decision they want.

But that's just me...
Everything is not a conspiracy,
But when it come to greed and money,
It's clearly is likely.
