It seems like ya just can't win.
After 2 1/2 years of covid. Travel limited. Going cabin crazy. And now... After all this is over... Gas prices are jacked. Food prices are going up everyday... 30-50% increases. So, here we are... not traveling at all. Staying home. Having cabin fever. Tired of television and movies. Raining 8 out of 10 days, so no outside work, no outside relaxation... no campfires. Cancelled our trip to the mountains and the lodge. Now almost $5 per gallon for gas... And expected to keep going up. Basically, staying home and going in to town once a week, saving up for financially the worst days to come.
Weathering the financial storm on a sinking ship. We're probably better off than some, but still concerned and feeling the runaway inflation. Hope y'all are doing well. Remember this when it comes time to elect government officials that can actually accomplish something good for the people as a whole.
