Controversial

Controversial Social Issues - Abortions

The highest court in the land, the U.S. Supreme Court is upset that a secret document was leaked to the public. Apparently the high Court operates under the same concept as Congress... what is done behind closed doors should stay behind closed doors. That the citizens should not entitled to know what government is doing... There should not be any transparency and government should be able to operate in secretly. Government officials have secrets and clearly get upset when their secrets are made public. When someone or something has secrets, and they don't want to be revealed, they're usually doing something that's not on the up and up.

In this case is not a matter of national security. It's the government holding secret meetings to control the personal lives of the citizens.
Religion is not suppose to have influence in government.  Government is not suppose to influenced by religions. It's called separation of church and state... Which clearly means nothing to our government / court / justice system. Government / court decisions are clearly influenced by religions, especially in the issue of abortion.

Of course,  like most things in government, they are surrounded with secrets and  deception.  Get everyone to focus on a hot controversial issue while doing something else in secret that you are not watching.

I guess it's all a matter of trust in the integrity of those in government.
Do you trust government officials to always do the right thing?  Well,  I guess that's a matter of perception.... or blind trust.

Government should not be this involved in our personal lives... Especially when it has nothing to do with the common good.

Of course,  I'm always amazed that with all the problems facing society today... unchecked inflation, gasoline prices, crime, and the border crisis... Why is the government wasting time and resources on less important issues.

Don't they have much more important issues to focus on?

But here again,  it's a matter of perception. Some people would think that everything is perfectly okay.

Pass me those rose colored glasses please...
