Trust... The downside.
So... Who falls short all the time of the trust you have in them, repeatedly, to the point where you not only have no trust at all, and even expect have any bit of hope violated yet again?
Well, the list could be long. But first and foremost is political greed coupled with greedy companies that always put the economic screws to the public at large.
I'm sure there are other factors involved, but of recent, the news media talked about gasoline prices... And how we get 2% of our oil from Russia.. yet gas prices have gone from $3.50 to $4.20... That's a 20% increase. Did politics really put production limits in U.S. oil ? Knowing that they will result in higher prices and record profits for oil companies and the politicians that are in bed with them? A recent prominent member of Congress said that gas prices at the $6 to $7 range is a small price to pay during this crisis and shouldn't affect the economy. Just another example of politicians completely out of touch with the average citizen.... or perhaps they simply don't care. Can they really think we believe anything they say?
Life in these United States... Where trust in politics is gone and we wait for the next issue to be yet another reason to raise prices.
S so why is trust in politicians gone? Does anyone really need to ask this question? ... Really?
Trust is a great thing. It simply means that you can always count on someone or something.
1. You trust, because you've got no reason not to.
2. Your trust was broken once, but can be earned back.
3. Your trust has been violated repeatedly by someone or something.
