Resolution...
Why am I making a resolution? Not being happy with a particular situation. The process... examine a problem or issue... Determine a desired result... And make a plan to achieve the desired result. Of course, the first action is to determine if the change is obtainable. Some things are within your ability to control, and some things are simply beyond your influence. If they are in your control, your make a plan. If you can not control something you have to ways to proceed. Avoid it, limit your exposure to the issue, and if not given a choice, learn to live with it and not have it negatively affect you.
So to the issue at hand. Watching television news... Always a mixed bag covering a multitude issues that never seem to end or ever be resolved. The news media, as it covers Congress always shows them being a emotional auguementative vindictive uncooperative group that creates more turmoil and controversary while solving nothing. Does it really serve the public at large to show congress in the worse possible light? After all, they are the leaders of the country and should be held in esteem... right?... despite their appreprehensible behavior, corruption, special interests, and inability to truly solve problems to benefit the citizens that voted for them to make life better. This is not too good to instill confidence in the ability of our government. Shame on the news media. And here I thought that the media was bought and paid for by politicians.
Oh... Wait... Perhaps, just maybe... The news media shows congress for what they really are. Rather sad... Our government at work. No wonder that nothing good is expected of politicians and government.
