So what's Safe?
Who knows...can you believe what your are told?
Considering the possibilities, the risks, and the dangers. Potentially the risks are everywhere. Our water, the air, processed foods, food additives, artificial sweeteners, and certainly prescription medications and all the possible side effects and dangers. Add to this the foams used in furniture, mattresses and pillows releasing VOCs that we breathe in day after day.
Medical equipment that's now in question.
Cpap equipment that is used by 3 million people. The recall of Philips equipment due to the foam breaking down and releasing not only particles directly into your respiratory system, but also releasing VOCs. What we know... The original Philips foam is highly suspected of being dangerious... hence the recall.

They are highly suspected of causing the flames to break down.
They should never be used to the internal parts of the cpap.
