Control of emotions...

This is a lost concept in today's society. The past 10-15 years every thing has changed in the social climate. Fueled by politics, the news media, and especially social media, everyone is conditioned to not only be offended by everything,  but encouraged to voice, argue, and protest anything that doesn't conform to their way of thinking. Encouraged to believe that individual personal freedoms outweigh the safety and needs of society as a whole. The biggest issue lately revolves around the Covid pandemic. 

Masks... Vaccinations... Passports.

Emotions are out of control. 

And as everything comes to a head, most of the emotions are being shouted by those for individual freedom and against masks,  the vaccine,  and vaccine passports. 

Personally, I have no problem with individual freedoms.  And that would be fine if their decisions not to mask or vaccine only affected them. Most of the reasons sited for not getting the vaccines have been rendered invalid by medical science.  So what's left?  The overall argument that they don't want the government telling them what they can do to their body. Okay...  Question... Were these the same people that oppose abortion and want the government to mandate what an individual can do with their body?   Wait... They want the government to tell people what to do on the abortion issue... but not tell people what to do on the Covid issue? 

Regardless... Control of emotions is a concept lost in the era of  " it's all about me"  and  " my personal freedoms outweigh the needs of society as a whole".

Personally...  I have an issue with the unvaccinsted clogging the hospitals, and others that have life threatening conditions are not getting the care that they normally would.  And needed surgeries like getting knee and hip replacements are posponed indefinitely due to hospital resources. So, the unvaccinated are affecting the health care of others. If the unvaccinated only affected themselves... No problem. 

Of course some have said that the spread of the virus is being sustained by the unvaccinated. And as a result of this,  so many people are being affected, creating worker shortages, affecting the distribution of goods and services... and intimately causing shortages in food stores... creating supply verses demand issues resulting in the worse inflation in 40 years. Another issue is the distribution of medications... resulting in out if stocks and rationing of needed medications. 

Lots to consider... When do individual freedoms take precedence over the needs of society as a whole? 

Well... That's something to thing about. 
Think as you will. 
Believe as you will.
