Politics... not only is it a dirty word (to most)... but anything and everything connected to it is not worthy of any trust... totally lacking in integrity... in any degree. Beyond my belief, which is not only my personal conviction, but my way to maintain self preservation of mind and emotions. The less I know, the less anguish and distress I have in my life. Having said this, you'd have to understand that if I was asked if the president is republican or democrat... well... I'd have a 50/50 chance of getting it right. Why? After seeing and hearing all the negative crop from those that supposedly represent either side of the parties... all the trashing... all the misinformation, all the bickering, all the name calling, all the blaming, and all those that are on the verge of arguing even to the point of near violence. Well, I don't need it in my life. I literally do not care to hear about the controversy, let alone be personally involved in discussions that lead to controversial, out of control discussions where someone simply can not accept the fact that I don't agree with them.... And they can't convince me otherwise. And therein lies my resolution and personal conviction to avoid all things political. Now you know.
