Encouragement for the less than professional, with less than expensive equipment. I love photography, especially in the digital age. My objectives: 1. Have fun. 2. To capture memories. 3. You don't need to have extensive knowledge of cameras and expensive equipment to take great photos. Kinda like the concept in Ratatouille that anyone can cook... everyone is capable of taking great photos. With an eye for the photo, its framing & composition, and a little attention to natural lighting, anyone can, even with very inexpensive equipment, take great photos. This shot was taken with an $89 Nikon Coolpix L22 pocket camera. Of course despite talent, equipment does have limitations especially in very low light, and especially when moving, like on a Disney ride, or creating special effects. But I think anyone is easily capable of taking great photos even with a mere pocket camera.
