( the list for the buy items is mostly all over $20). I'm not going to buy 3 items at $60 that I don't absolutely need, to get those 5 free items.

Strategy:
Just about every order I make is just over $10. So over time in might get $50 worth of stuff on 5 different orders. Those 5 orders ship separately on different days (ordered 2 days apart ).
Of the 5 orders for different days. 2 arrived late via USPS ( they are terrible here)... So I got a $5 credit each of the 2 orders that arrived late. One package got misplaced for several days passing the delivery date... deemed lost... and got a full refund credit... then 8 days late after the delivery date, USPS finally found the package, delivered it... but I still got the refund to use on future purchases.
So, multiple orders of $10 verses on of $50... Gives you 5 chances for late delivery and refund credits.
Note: most things are 8-12 days delivery... So if you need it quick... Go Amazon.
