The big difference... news reporters had integrity.
They reported the facts, all the facts, and let you draw your own opinion. But you wouldn't know that if you are under 50.

Slant the news as to their agendas.
Report news tainted by politics.

Tell you who to blame.
Tell you how to hate.
Tell you what to think.
Tell you what you should be offended by.
Basically... today... you can not take anything they report at face value. It's either tainted by various agendas... or speculation.
