Streaming
Streaming tv shows and movies. It's not new, but not available to those that do not have high speed internet. So it's not about being about tech savvy... but waiting for internet to get to where you live.
Us... We are still waiting... here in the farmlands of central Virginia... outside a small country town named Culpeper. We can now get broadband radio internet... wow... 9 megabytes/ sec. But we can stream services... barely. Ditching the dish? Not just yet, but possibly soon.
Streaming... pros... most don't have commercials. And more programming is availabl, virtually anytime.
Streaming... cons... not all programs are streaming. No dvr feature to record and keep forever. Weak internet ... reduced picture quality or extended buffering.
Hopefully we will get high speed internet in the near future. No more dish.
