Social Atmosphere
There is no mystery why so many people act out aggressions via personal attacks, road rage, and endless shootings ... especially by young adults in school & colleges. The mentality and mindset rationalizes that violent acts are justified.
A by product of social media and an atmosphere where everybody is encouraged to not only be offended by everything, but act out with aggression towards anything or anybody that is in conflict with their beliefs or preferences... having absolutely no consequences for their actions. Social media and violent video games encourages the mindset that violence is not only okay, but that there are no consequences for any of their actions.

This aggression starts small with personal verbal attacks and harassment which goes unchecked with no consequences... thus encouraging continued and eventually elevated aggression. Then it elevates to physical aggression. And when their drama filled lives reach the breaking point, no longer being able to control their rage of being offended by everything... then violent shootings become more and more a regular occurrence. Add to this problem the indifference to see and act on the warning signs of impending violent acts. Like when someone posts on social media that they are going to do mass shootings.... and it is ignored. For years, police and law enforcement have had their hands tied, unable to act on possible threats, simply because that person hasn't broken any laws yet, and police must wait for them to commit their acts of violence. Senseless shootings.
Racial issues, and those brain washed to commit acts of terrorism, also fuel the fires of violence.
BTW... To those that believe that gun control will solve this problem... well, that's delusional. Ineffective as laws against illegal drugs. They could ban all guns and ammunition, and the effect would be extremely minimal... There's are too many guns already out there, and criminals, just like drug addicts, will always be able to get guns.
