Crowd solutions at Disney... Magic Kingdom.
One word about Disney crowds... inconceivable!
If there was a picture in the dictionary with the word insane...
There would be a photo of the crowds at Disney.
Why do I say insane? Not to long ago a busy day at Magic Kingdom was 50,000 guests. A light day was 35,000. So my perspective of the current crowds of 90,000 is absolutely insane.
Disney over the years has come up with solutions for larger crowds at Magic Kingdom,especially when the park closes. Extra ferry boats to the The Floridian Resort and the Polynesian, bigger boats to the Contemporary, Wilderness lodge, and the campground. Expanded bus terminal and service to the hotels.
But... Main Street, the only way out, is a bottle neck... elbow to elbow, creeping along to join the long lines waiting for the monorail, busses, or ferry boats. The latest solution to Main Street crowds is bypass corridors on both sides of Main Street behind the stores. A nickle solution for a dollar problem. But it's something.
Personally... No plans to return. We would only be annoyed and disappointed.
