KV62 ... 1334 BC... 1922... 100 Years... 2022.
One hundred years ago today, November 4th, 1922, after years of research and searching, archaeologist Howard Carter finally discovers the tomb of Tutankhamun. According to his research he knew that of all the burial sites in the valley of the Kings, there was still one Egyptian pharaohs grave that was not been discovered. This was going to be Carters last season, as the funding was ending. And as history would have it, the last season, the last place to dig.
Discovery... Success... And the rest is history.
