Science can explain many things including the firefly, or if you prefer, the lightn' bug.
Science aside, watching the evening fade away, as dusk blankets the trees and fields, nature provides a sparkling show of flashing lights. Fireflies fill the impending darkness by the thousands. And while science thinks little of the firefly, to me they are still a miracle of nature... nothing short of being magical. Missed by most in their busy lives, not taking time to stop and enjoy nature.
The world needs more magic.
