Flashback. Remember these as a child. They were everywhere back them. Special events. Festivals. Carnivals. Fairs. Amusement parks. Probably haven't seen these since the 1970s. All the rage... then gone. Hard as a rock candy coating, cracking, brittle, cut your lip, stick to your teeth, and super sweet. Made eating apples fun. I remember them being 50 cents. Just another childhood memory. Apparently you can still get them for $5.99 each via mail order. Wow.
Think I'll pass on the $5.99 and just have my memories.
