Executed in the proper way and in the proper place?
Like most people think, the answer to that question is absolutely not!
Draw your own conclusions as your conscience and social morals dictate. And Perhaps as common sense and patriotism would guide you.
There's a time, place, and appropriate manner for everything, but then again this too is a personal choice influenced by social environment. Seems as though most people consider the NFL kneeling protest, or unity, depending on your view, to be grossly inappropriate, distasteful, and even disgraceful. Thus the decline in fan support for the NFL and its players. I feel sorry for all the business and people indirectly dependant on football that have, and will suffer financial losses due to the kneeling protests. Undoubtedly the players will suffer no Immediate loss for their actions. Any loss directly for the NFL either now or in the future ... well, they brought it upon themselves.
