Snow White.. The movie.
Thinking about the movie and all the controversy, now that I've seen it on Disney+.
My perception... For what it's worth. For me, not as controversial as critics indicated... okay maybe it is. It misses the mark as to the original Walt Disney animated version. In essence, the live action version kinda follows the original story line, but misses charm and wonder. I loved Beauty and the Beast live action version, but Snow White truly misses the mark. Perhaps it's too much singing... too many nutty lines to the songs. Too many unclear messages. For me its a 3/10 rating. I will most likely never watch it again. If I had paid to see it in the theatre, I would have been disappointed. The adaptations from the original miss the mark. Too many things that just are not right. Aside from Gal Gadot... It's a cast if unknowns. And Zegler doesn't quite fit the part right. Sometimes, they just shouldn't mess with a classic, trying to change the narrative or the message.
