The Fate of All Men
Death.... eventually.
Just another reason to cherish family & friends while they are here. Hard to think about... statistically, almost 20% of my childhood friends have passed. Hope most have beaten this statistic. And... Yet, here I am. And everyday you hear about people your own age and younger passing away. Cherish each day as a gift. Even the same old, same old type days. You could be gone in a moments notice. Smile, laugh, and enjoy your life with others. Seek happiness.
Feel like I should say something profound... like...
"live long and prosper".
What's even more sad.
Beyond your grandchildren,
a mere two generations after your death, no one will remember you.
Time and death have essentially erased all memory of you.
They may see a grave marker,
and with a mere passing, wonder about your life. Perhaps inspired by a few words of wisdom.
