Here we are... transitioning, no, actually we have become less logical and more emotional Society than ever before. Mostly focusing on the negatives, what offends people the most, who has suffered the most by prejudice and persecution. And its sometimes justified, in varying degrees, to feel that way.
Amazing, one group seems to throw out the prejudice card more than most. Indicating and implying that they have suffered the most, especially historically, and are owed by society as a whole, a better life. And while this in a part... prejudice and persecution... It's taken to the extreme to gain recognition and compensation.
This all kinda pales to the plight of one group that had utimately the most persecution. The indigenous peoples of North America that had everything... literally everything taken from them, all justified by greedly government and European invaders. Their land, their culture, their lives, their freedoms... all taken away with extreme prejudice. Then those that survived were put on reservations, contained and basically imprisoned. But history is written by the victor, the conquers, that write history to hide and justify their actions. Mostly forgotten now. Clearly not in the forefront of society today.
So putting this in perspective... the indigenous people of America suffered greatly compared to those today that shout the loudest, that they have been persecuted... and society owes them a better life. And while their feelings are valid, they always center on history from 160 years ago... Rather then the issues of today.
So no group of people have suffered more than indigenous native Americans. History is what it is.
Some parts made to faded Into Obscurity, While others use history to try to validate that society owes them a better life.
