Sometimes, attractions or psrk features the have been a cherished part of history.
The Liberity Belle Riverboat is one of those cherished park features thar has historic as well as personal memories. One of the original attractions that was there from the begining... and while Walt never saw, but planned the Liberty Boat as attraction. Little by little many of the parks attractions and features that were part of Walts vision... they are disappearing.
The Fountain or Nations in Epcot which was part of the parks original features, an integral part of the park's original dedication, was demollished. At the decidation of the parks opening, water from nations around the world was poured into the fountain as a celebration of world showcase.
Clearly the significance of that fountain and dedication were lost, and now gone forever.
Change at disney... always planned to keep things new and fresh. Some memories are gone. Family photos in front of the fountain of nations. A relaxing nostalgic ride when the Liberty Bell.
Over the years numerous things are lost to improvements. And while the new features bring enjoyment to the younger guests... it still sad to see things disappear.
