Americana Moment...
It's a beautiful July day. The skies are clear and sunny. There's a gentle breeze and temperatures in mild 80° up in the coolness of the mountains. The skies are bluer than blue. Greens are greener than green. The air is fresh and clean. Watched the movie Gettysburg in honor of the battle that took place there on July 1st - July 3rd. Although we are far from Gettysburg... The mountains in Virginia is a beautiful unspoiled part of natural america.
Sitting at the Skyline Drive overlooks, looking across the valley... It's breath taking. It seemed not only appropriate but very fitting to play the soundtrack music from the movie Gettysburg while looking out over the countryside. The wonderful view and the music fill your spirit while swelling up of emotions within. Very moving.
