Don't really see the need. 

I Don't need to get approval or accolades. I write for myself, my family, and my friends. Things that interest me. Things from my perspective. I don't need validation of my feelings or beliefs. 

And I won't criticize you if yours are different from mine... to each his own.

Make of it what you will.  I'm not trying to make you believe as me... or convince you that my perspective is right... or that yours is wrong. 

Comments on opposing views. Most of the time they are negative and argumentive. Don't need the drama... nor does any other readers.

So I really don't need to allow comments.
