Over the years, many things have come and gone, and some have even come back. Dole pineapple ships was one of this items. A guest favorite for... well, forever, at Magic Kingdom AdventureLand. Then the powers to be decided to get rid of it. Guest outrage brought it back.
One of our favorite treats was the jalapeno cream cheese soft pretzels ... Absolutely delicious. It was moved around to other locations.. very annoying when you go to look for it in familiar places and its not there. Then they were discontinued completely.
No doubt due to guests requests... Disney brought them back.
Disappointment... New, smaller, and not improved... cheaper product at higher prices... Naturally.
Disney food, especially counter service, is generally lacking in quality and hardly ever hot... Prepared in advance, kept warm, and then shoveled out to guests. Quality varied from locations and even the same location... one day good, and another time not so much.
Treats as a whole, could always be counted on to be good... all the time.
Now, having said that... with the return of the pretzels and the disappointment of the new replacements verses the former delicious ones... now treats have been compromised in quality just like foods.
New guests will never know. Just like new guests will never realize all the things that have changed of have gone away forever.
