Despite the ever growing number of long time Disney Fans that are currently upset of many of the changes at Disney World, that vail not to go into Disney, the parks are still over crowded... No doubt for two reasons. They are new or every several years guests, so all the negative changes will not be as apparent to them as it is to frequent park goers. And the fact that everyone is so done with Covid isolation and more than ready to break out and do that big vacation.
It's great news for Universal Studios that not only get the benefit of their regular guests returning, but are also getting the frequent Disney guests that are disenchanted with Disney right now.

Then there's the whole advertising thing at Disney... There are probably some times when there seem to be no crowds... like first thing when they open for extra magic hours... But most times huge crowds are the normal.
Very similar to the a promo photos of the wine & food festival. Photo of Elegant dining with glasses of wine... very preppy. The reality of Friday & Saturday nights... beer & wine drunk fest that goes unmonitored & uncontrolled by Disney managers and security... but that's another story. Promotions to drink your way around the world showcase creates and encoursges the problem.
