Tiny homes. Another option for the a different, sometimes viewed as unconventional way, to have a place to call home without the traditional 30 year mortgage that typically consumes 50% or more of your spendable income. A mortgage that in some ways makes you a slave to that house by way of monthly payments for 30 years, expenses, maintenance, and all the time you spend working on the house. So there's many reasons that tiny homes are attractive... Once you get past the inherent concept that you must have a big spacious home to live in. A home with lots of space in which to aquire more and more stuff to fill all that space.
Having enjoyed full time rving for the last 15 years its easy to understand that you truly don't need a great deal of space to live comfortably and have everything you need.
Here's some examples of the tiny home movement to a more carefree, stress free, financially less demanding lifestyle.
