There's an abundance of reasons why people are completely sick and aggregated with politics and politicians. Prior to election day the candidates and their supporters deem it vital to tell you why the other choice is bad, tearing them down with half truths and outright lies to get you emotionally angry and vote against them. They almost never tell you why the first candidate is good, but elect to do a smear campaign of why the other candidate is bad.
READ THIS TWICE SO IT SINKS IN...
You would have to conclude that if they have to resort to smearing the other candidate, than you don't really have much if anything good to say about yourself.
DID Y'ALL GET THAT?
TEARING DOWN THE OPPONENT TO ELEVATE THEMSELVES DOESN'T SAY MUCH ABOUT ANY POLITICIAN.
If you talk to political supporters they too will tell you everything that is wrong with the other guy and are hard pressed to tell you anything positive about their candidate. Doesn't say much for political supporters either.
