Summer Adventures. To all our friends, and friends of friends. Still looking for a great place to spend the summer season? How would you like to workamp in The Heartland of America. Mark Twain Landing Campground and Resort… right near Mark Twain Lake and Hannibal Missouri, the boyhood home of, who else, Mark Twain.
The property mangers Cj & Paula, and Frank & Alice, are looking for additional help for the season. We have worked for them several years and I can tell you… they are great with staff and guests alike. We would be there this year if not for plans already made from two years ago. Great folks to work with.
So if you are looking for a great place to workamp this spring and summer… this could be perfect for you. This family campground is beautiful, nice little lake on property, very nice office/store with restaurant, activity building, banquet/activity hall, indoor and outdoor movie theater, fishing, and mini golf. They have cabins, motel rooms, and condos right on the property. And then there’s the Water Park. Workamping Staff is great… and jobs could be in the campground or the water park. Then there’s the special events like KCBS BBQ cook-off, and karaoke weekends.
