Adventures

Today’s Disney Adventures took us to old favorites and new memories. First stop, The Wilderness Lodge, a quick tour through an old favorite. A great place to grab a bite is at the Whispering Canyon Cafe… with it’s western flair. Good food and great fun! Then a short walk to the docks and a boat ride to Magic Kingdom by way of Bay Lake and Fort Wilderness Campground. Magic Kingdom is always a favorite. Our plans today… relax, walk a bit, see some old favorites and visit the new Fantasyland section. Took it pretty easy, but went to Pirates of the Caribbean and Mickey’s PhilharMagic, and just walked around looking at old favorites. The New section of Fantasyland is truly nice, Disney magic at work. Sometimes is just amazing… actually… most times!

Gaston’s Tavern, and Belle’s & Ariel’s new digs.

And Yes… we stayed for the Wishes Fireworks by the Cinderella’s Castle.

So today was just a brief excursion into fantasy.

Many more to follow.

We got Florida Resident Annual passes, so we can go in as much as we like for a whole year… and the passes include free parking. Doing the math… the cost of the passes divided by 52 weeks in a year… it’s cost us $8.65 a week to enjoy all the parks as much as we want. If we go in 3 times a week (usually 5-6 hrs a visit… not the whole day) that come to less then $3 per day. What’s included? … Parking, transportation by bus, boat, or monorail, all four park admission (park hoppers), and discounts on merchandise and restaurants. Sweet Deal. Camping in our membership parks… if we are here 3 months a year… dues divided by usage… it’s comes to about $60 a week. If we are here 6 months.. it’s about $30 a week. And year round… about $15 / week. All total, about $100/month with electric. Sweet Camping and Magical Disney… doesn’t get much better then this.
