Science verses

Science vs Todays Reality

Science does a great job of discovering information about a multitude of things. Just how meaningful is it to us today... well, that's a matter of perception, or your point of view.

We know there have been ice ages in the past. They run in cycles. Science knows when the next age will occur, given past cycles.

Given that information, I just don't see the relevancy to us today. The next ice age will occur in 10,000 - 12,000 years.

It's kinda like knowing that there's another earth like planet, suitable for human life... and its only 127 light years away.

Current technology... it would take 2.25 million years to travel to there. Don't see how this actually helps us... other than to speculate that there's other intelligent life in the universe.

But anyway... back to the ice age...
