History
There are those that would abolished history.
As if it never happened.
Why? ... it offends them.
Obliterate any remembrance,
any statues or monuments.
Don't teach it. Don't talk about it.
It was once said, that if we do not remember history, we are doomed to repeat it.
Not a very realistic thought.
Since hate & prejudice is
Never ending.
Perpetrated generation after generation.
Events from 160 years ago
is blamed for the hste & prejudice
that exists today.
But that's not the reason that
people harbor prejudice today.
That's an individual choice for
which they only have themselves to blame... NOT History.
Of course... deflecting blame on anything, including history,
but taking responsibility on themselves and their actions.
Remembering history...
