There's always a political agenda connected to anything and everything that the government (Trump) does. There's always a negative spin or a half truth of information to achieve that agenda. Recent cry for outrage by the news media, has incited people to be outraged over this detention center for illegal alien immigrants that entered the country illegally. Some may be good people just looking for a better life... but they never took steps to become legal citizens. Rounded up to be deported. Some were illegals that have become criminals. The news media paints a picture of an Everglades location surrounded by alligators, where they could be in moral danger of attack.
As usual, the media has knowingly miss led the public to paint a gruesome image. The imagine the media wants you to imagine is on an island surrounded by swamps full of alligators and venomous snakes. This photo shows how it really is. A safe abandoned airstrip where facilities and safety is easily seen.
The detention center is located in an isolated area away from urban homes & businesses where escape would afford them a easy way to blend in when escaping.
