Currently, Earth is the "Sweet Spot"
to support human & animal life.
Billions of years ago it was Mars.
Today it is the Earth.
Someday it will be Venus.
The Earth itself has undergone massive changes.
Which will continue, despite the efforts of humans.

has shaped the world, and always will.
It's a never ending cycle.
Extinction of species is inevitable.
99% of all life on Earth has come & gone.

Aside from climate or a Catastrophic event,
we individually won't see those changes.
Except for plagues... plagues will kill you.
Of course, there's the thought that an alien
Species will come to our little planet
And decided humans are to be eliminated.
Then there's the optimistic view.
