EV's

Controversy over EV's.
There is NEVER a lack of controversy
over a multitude of topics.
Electric Vehicles is clearly a good one.

Question #1... Should we?
Question #2 ... Which over shadows #1.
Can we realistically convert totally?
Or for that matter even 50%?

The government seems to think only about question #1.
So,  who's paying them to think this way?
They ask... Should we... yes they say!
While thinking about mandates and deadlines.
Unrealistic to accomplish.

Environmentally friendly?
All things considered... not really.
Production of vehicle, namely the batteries.
Burning more coal to produce electric for charging.
Disposal of spent batteries.
And The massive
Infrastructure
to support conversion to EVs.
And... Currently not practical...
The lack of charging stations while traveling.
Did you know... Many places are using diesel
Generators to power charging stations.
Environmentally friendly???

Could we totally convert?
No... Not practical!
BTW... Reports shows that the projected availability
Of the minerals needed to produce batteries
Could not ever be enough to convert by 50%.
And most of those rare minerals are in China.
EVs May be a part of the future
But not by any large percentage.
Unless they discover new ways to power them.

So,  there you are.  Potientally Another Government
Mandated program that will not really solve anything, and is not practical or achievable.
