Okay,  maybe you should be. 

Typical brown bears in Shenandoah 

will generally run away from you. 

Unless you do something stupid. 
Think they are cute and friendly. 
Have open food around them. 
Get to close to bear Cubs.

Other places, are different. 
You don't really have to do something stupid

other than be in the wrong place at the wrong time. 
Any other act of stupidity increases the risk. 
Bears can mame or kill you.

Then eat you... After all...

You are food to them.  

Don't worry about the saying...

What doesn't kill you makes you stronger...

Be smarter... Find another way to be stronger.
