Healthy Eating

Healthy Eating...
Talking to my nutritionist via the telephone, going over daily meals, giving tips for healthier eating habits. I'm pretty well on target... 1800 calories, 110 carbs, & 100 proteins daily. 
Going over breakfast which included bacon. Went over lunch sandwich which included bacon. Went over dinner plans which had green beans with real bacon bits. We talked about bacon and possible substitutions. She asked about snacks... comfort food. Well, lately there's a lot of distress over hip pain. She ask what I use for comfort food. So, when I'm down with physical pain... I had corn tortilla chips, dip, and ... bacon. I could hear her shaking her head.
In addition, she also indicated that pickles do not constitute a vegetable. I explained that when in pain comfort food was sweets... now salty snacks & bacon. (it was on sale at the country store... we got a 10 pound box or $35). Bacon, bacon, bacon. She had several suggedtions including vegetables I hate and fresh fruits. Okay, I'm down with the fruit. Not giving up bacon.
